Calgary-based Kids U offers early learning, preschool and daycare services across six locations with a focus on student-centered, inquiry-based learning environments that cultivate enthusiastic and globally-minded individuals.
With a goal of shaping a child’s brain architecture through their unique left brain, right brain and movement curricula, Kids U use toned down colors such as soft pastels in their learning environments rather than the bright colors (blues/yellows/reds) that are typically seen throughout many other daycare centers.
Kids U didn’t want the focus to be on the furniture, but rather the student’s activities and artwork etc. They were seeking simple and practical furniture solutions with muted colors. They had previously used custom-designed furniture from Europe, but were looking for a more local solution.
CDI Spaces provided the well-crafted Jonticraft products, Virco tables in different shapes and styles (nest/slide/leaf) and chairs and some Mitybilt tables with folding legs.
